I was sorry to hear about John's passing. We played baseball together at Waltrip and were roommates at Texas our freshman year. I regret that I lost track of him after college. He was a fun loving person and a good friend.

I played baseball with John at Waltrip, too.  John was always smiling and friendly.  I think he came to Waltrip in the middle of his high school years, but he made friends quickly.  I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.
