  William "Bill" Howren, 49, passed away Friday, 7 Aug 1998. Bill was a native Houstonian. Graduate of Sam Houston State University and held various managerial positions. He will be remembered for always helping others out when they were in need. He is preceeded in death by his father, Hubert Leighton Howren, Jr. Survived by his mother Mrs Jean Howren of Houston, grandmother Mrs Annie Ruth Howren of North Carolina, brothers James Howren and wife Carolyn, Johnny Howren and wife Carolyn, sisters, Priscilla Calhoun, Susan Worsham and husband Gary, and numerous nieces and nephews.
