Richard was a friend at Waltrip.  He knew me and introduced me to his friend one year we were both in summer school. I was trying to get a class, so, I wouldn't have to take it my senior year. Richard's  friend was taking a class he needed to graduate from Reagan.  His friend was Mark Hill, whom I would marry in 1968.  Mark became very good friends with Richard and he would come over occassionally for dinner.  We were both fond of Richard and Mark and I were very upset when Richard died.  He was a great guy and a good friend.
