It is with great sadness that I learned of Jack's death.  Jack and I attended Baptist Temple together in the late 1950's.  He and I played on the church football team which was coached by Howard Moon, a Baylor alum.  Even then, Jack was a much better player than me and received more playing time.  Jack was always a first class individual and he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Jack was my vet for many years, and was a truly kind and caring person.  I enjoyed getting to know him over the years, and will really miss him.

Heaven now has one of the best.

Debbie - My heart goes out to you.  I pray that you have depended on the Lord to get you through your hardest time.  I lost my husband just this last Christmas and I know the feeling of sad loss but I also know that God has been there for me.  Jack's name was mentioned often at the 45th reunion.  We all hated losing someone we'd known since Stevens Elementary and we know you both would have been there.  Our Lord be with you.

I'm late hearing about Jack's passing, but am very sorry to get this news. He was a great guy in high school and I'm not surprised to learn that he went into that wonderful caring profession of veterninary medicine in his adult life; it fits what I remember about his kindness and general decency.
