SAMUEL F. WILSON, JR., 60, was born April 5, 1947 in Houston, and died November 20, 2007. He is survived by loving wife of 36 years, Barbara Stanton Wilson and her son Steve Durman, and parents Samuel F. Wilson, Sr. and Margaret Robinson Wilson; sisters Maureen Swerdlik, Lake Oswego, OR, Cathleen Wallace, Midland, TX, and Sheila Morales, San Antonio, TX, a brother Paul Wilson, Austin, TX; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A longtime resident of Cleveland, TX, he retired after 30 years service as electrician in plant maintenance at the University of Houston main campus. Sam was amateur radio operator N5RSO and was a longtime member of SHARK radio club. He was generous with his time and energy in helping with club projects and helping friends. He loved to hunt and fish. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00p.m. Sunday, November 25, at Brookside Funeral Home.
