I received this sad message today (Feb 24, 2026) from Jerry Daily:
"I see a message on Josh Billingsley's Facebook page by his children saying Josh passed away yesterday. No other information."
If you have more information, please let me know. Josh was known and loved my many.
Josh was born on May 29, 1949 & died on February 23, 2026. He was 76.

I'm sorry to hear this - my condolences to the family. Oh what a nice guy Josh was! We had classes together throughout the Waltrip years, and I always enjoyed talking with him! RIP old friend!

I was surprised to hear of Josh's passing. I had really not seen him since high school. A couple of years ago his wife sadly passed away. I was so happy to be on his Facebook page as a friend. Funny he always loved Mickey Mantle as his favorite baseball player in the many baseball comments he made through the years. I felt the same too. Always a nice guy.
