Raul Garza

I received information today from Ruby Garza, that she lost her father, Raul Garza on Nov 3, 2015.  He resided in Sugarland, TX and said he died of a heart attack.  I expressed our sincere sympathy to the family and our appreciation for her letting us know so that we can honor Raul on our website.  It is evident from the photos Raul shared with us that he loved his family very much.  Following is his obituary:

I was so shocked to read this! Raul was a quiet and kind boy and grew into a loving man. We corresponded via email intermittently and his sense of humor, caring, and just being a generally good person shown through those messages. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I'm very shocked at this news. Raul and I have kept in touch all these years and talked on a frequent basis. In Sept 2015, he called me with a new phone number and we talked as usual and he never mentioned being sick or feeling bad. My condolences go out to his family who he was very proud of and talked about in every call we had. May he rest in peace.

From all of the pictures Raul posted on this site, I know he has left behind a large legacy of love of family.  I pray for his family as they mourn and remember the friendliness he showed others.

I have been told that God calls home the best, and Raul was just that.  We never know when we will be called and I think this is a testament to enjoy every day as a special gift.  All of us have enjoyed Raul's spark and enjoyment of life with his dear family through his Waltrip communications to include photos.  Such a dear and caring individual.  May God help his family endure the pain of loss and may it be lessened as time heals and tucks the wonderful memories in the minds of all who hold Raul dear.
