Walter Paul Larrigan

Walter Paul Larrigan

WALTER PAUL LARRIGAN, 53, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at his home in Houston, in the presence of his pastor, family and friends who loved him so very much. He fought cancer courageously, for a year and a half. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Walter James Larrigan, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pamela Hartfield Larrigan, son, Jeffrey Paul Larrigan, mother, Martha Ann Lawrence, brother, Gary James Larrigan, brother-in-law, Ronnie Hartfield, and his wife, Karel Sue and their two daughters, aunts, cousins, and wonderful friends, whom he loved like family. Paul was a very beloved and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. While his passing is a great loss to all of us, we are comforted by the knowledge and assurance that Paul is now completely happy and at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and reunited with family who preceded him. Paul was truly the best and the greatest to all of us. Paul worked as a salesman employed by R. & R. Wholesale Dist. Co for over 20 years. Here, also, he was a very devoted person, loved and respected by fellow employees and customers. The funeral will be at 1:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2002, at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be at Woodlawn Garden of Memories. Contributions may be made to The Hospice at The Texas Medical Center, 1905 Holombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77030, or Jersey Village Baptist Church 4-Our Children Fund, 16518 Jersey, Jersey Village, Texas 77040.

I had not kept up with Paul since High School, but he was a member of Jersey Village Baptist Church and I met his wife not too long after we had joined and she told me he passed away with cancer. He was our Houston Chronicle paper boy! Very nice young man and I am sure he grew to be a nice adult man. His wife was nice to talk to.
