Very sorry to hear that. I always liked Randy for many many years through different schools. RIP Randy.Margaret Warren (Rosenbach)
Oh, so sad that we are just finding out about Randy's death in 2007. My God have carried him home and he is at peace. I hope he had a good life.
Pat Clooney (King)
I spoke with Bea Rusk today who said she was Randy's 3rd wife and she said they had “one beautiful child together named Sandy.” Sandy is now 29 years old and she has 2 grandsons that Randy never got to meet. Bea spoke freely of Randy and said she still misses him very much. She said Randy attended Stephen F Austin College, was not in the military, worked a long time as salesman at Finger Furniture in Houston and "enjoyed life" He especially enjoyed fishing. Once, in 2003, Randy fell through the boards on a fishing pier in Galveston and he was pretty badly cut up by the barnacles. Shortly thereafter, he was fishing in Matagorda Bay and ended up with the flesh eating bacteria. It was so serious he was in Memorial Herman Hospital in Bay City, TX for 2 months. He lost his leg at the knee as a result of it.
Randy was living in Spring Branch at the time he had a massive heart attack in the kitchen of his home and died the same day on October 29, 2007 at the age of 58. He was cremated and his ashes were spread in Galveston Bay. Bea said heart attacks ran in Randy’s family and Randy had lost his own father to a heart attack when Randy was about 9 or 10. Bea said if there is anyone who wants to call her at 713 569-2268 to discuss further, to feel free. Bea's email is Bea.rusk@gmail.com
