Joined Six Flags AstroWorld in 1971 and retired from company in 2007. Never worked a day in 36 years. Had a good marriage for 26 yrs and, still great friends with ex and in-laws. Now, I am working on family entertainment projects. Just finished a big one in Dubai. Life has been good to me.
Moved to Corpus to build Hurricane Alley Waterpark then got married and moved to Austin. A year and a half ago, joined AC Development as VP of Operations to build and operate NLand Surf Park.
I played Basketball and water polo my Soph year but, droped out to concentrate on Drama. I always supported the BB team and kept in touch with the guys. My Senior year, (67), we won the UIL Regional one act play contest (won State after that). When I went to the stage to accept the award, I looked over and there were members of the Basketball team who were there to support us. Wow, would that happen today? Class of '67, we were all "together".

Gil was a great guy. Our senior year he would give me a ride to school every day. I remember his little Volkswagen bug. It was a very cool car. I remember one day I had a knock at my door opened it and there was a cop standing there. I thought I was in trouble until he started laughing and turned. Gilford was standing there to explain that his volts wagon broke down and his dad's driver had to take us to school. Gill was a great guy and treated everyone with dignity and respect no matter who you were you came from. Rest in peace Gil. God Bless
