I grew up in Oak Forest at 2303 Gardenia Dr., and, later for two years in Garden Oaks. I attended Stevens and Garden Oaks elementary and went through the 7th grade at Black Jr. High.
I played baseball and football with the Oaks Dads Club, Baptist Temple Longhorns and in the 7th grade at Black Jr. High.
I was a member of Boy Scout Troop 283 at St. Matthew's Methodist Church.
Had my parents not divorced, I would have graduated with the class of 1967 at Waltrip. I have many found memories of all the boys and girls I grew up with in the area and would like to reconnect with those who remember me.
